Specific Duties
- To inspect, spot check, and supervise inspectors, technicians, and other staff to make sure the standard of quality does not diminish, and to provide guidance and feedback
- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
- Set requirements for suppliers and monitor their compliance
- Collaborate with HR to ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines
- Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
- Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
- Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives in a timely manner
- Perform executed batch record reviews
- Create and keep track of product lot specific documentation
- Internal and external audit oversight
- Review all analytical test results relevant to microbiology lab as required
- Assure accuracy of SOPs relating to microbiology, including creation and revision
- Assist in qualifications/validation process related to microbiology
- Review and approve incidents, deviations, investigations, change control and OOS as required
- Work with colleagues in operations to resolve quality and compliance issues
- Serve as the back up to release raw materials and components for the GMP operations
- Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned to the Quality Department

Requirements
- Fully Bilingual - both writing and speaking
- 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance position
- Experience in food related markets are preferred
- Experience in manufacturing and production scheduling preferred
