Position Overview:
As a Technical Intake Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for client service requests, ensuring accurate documentation and proper routing. You will also have opportunities to perform light technical duties to build foundational IT skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Intake Duties
- Create and route tickets for incoming service requests (via phone and email) using help desk software
- Prioritize and classify tickets based on asset type, department, and urgency
- Manage incoming calls, ensuring timely and accurate routing
- Perform administrative tasks such as restocking supplies, checking mail, and sending out correspondence
- Assist with team meetings and assigned projects
- Serve as backup for receiving and routing incoming shipments
Technical Duties
- Reset user passwords and unlock accounts
- Assist with program updates or installations when requested
- Mark emails for delivery through spam filters
- Facilitate external tech support connections to client servers, monitoring and properly concluding sessions
- Conduct basic troubleshooting (e.g., checking cables, power resets, etc.)
Qualifications:
Required:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in typing and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Preferred:
- Completion of at least two years of college coursework in computer science or a related field (degree not required)
