Who Are We Looking For
We are seeking an experienced consultant with 2-4 years of strategy consulting experience, preferably within the life sciences or healthcare sectors—to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to make direct contributions in shaping both client outcomes and the evolution of our firm.
In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership and clients to address complex business challenges across areas such as market strategy, product commercialization, financial analysis, and business development. You will take ownership of key project activities, lead day-to-day client interactions, and deliver high-quality insights that inform critical decision-making.
Role Responsibilities
- Collaboration and Project Management: Work closely with both internal and external teams to structure problems, test hypotheses, and synthesize findings into timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct primary and secondary research to inform strategic recommendations, market intelligence, financial models, revenue forecasts, and other takeaways as needed.
- Strategic Recommendations: Transform analyses into actionable recommendations tailored to client needs, including corporate strategy, market assessments, and portfolio planning.
- Deliverable Development: Craft client materials in a variety of media to ensure effective communication of key insights and strategic recommendations.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members by reviewing materials, offering feedback, and fostering professional development and team culture.
Qualifications and Skills
- 2-4 years of experience in strategy consulting, preferably in life sciences
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, life sciences, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in market research and financial modeling
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other related tools or technology
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Passion for life sciences and healthcare innovation
- Positive attitude and work ethic, understands the importance of workplace culture

Location
- Spinnaker is headquartered in Boston, MA with an additional office in Minneapolis, MN. Candidates are expected to work on a hybrid schedule at either of the office locations, and be open to periodic travel to client sites as needed.
