Advisory Consultants within the Business Advisory Beacon (BAB) at ZS are part of a team focused on building and incubating the firm's strategic advisory capabilities. We target building and strengthening relationships with a diverse range of Commercial and R&D decision-makers. We serve them on topics that are cross-functional and relevant to their higher business priorities.
What You’ll Do
- Works with clients who have broad, cross-functional responsibilities to help them make strategic choices about their business and/or transform their organization
- Lead discussions on both client-specific matters and issues affecting the broader healthcare landscape
- Communicates interrelated business issues with senior executives and align stakeholders across functions
- Address situations without clear problem statements to find new solutions and/or disruptive innovation
- Structure and develop client deliverables in PowerPoint, including "telling the story" with supporting analysis in a clear and effective manner
- Drive project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data, and coordinating team meetings and guiding and teaching more junior team members
- Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects, practices and clients
- Motivate, coach, and serve as a role model for project team members
- Drive business and strategy development

What You’ll Bring
- MBA with bachelor's (and often graduate) degrees with a strong academic record in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied math, statistics, or related fields. Alternately, candidates may possess a PhD in marketing, economics, decision sciences or related field with a business application. In lieu of an MBA or PhD, 6-8 years of relevant life sciences, pharma, biotech, or healthcare consulting experience may substitute.
