Consumer Insights Manager

Summary

The Manager Consumer Insights will be responsible for delivering critical Consumer Panel reports, analyses and insights to clients in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. This high-impact role will handle multiple clients in an entrepreneurial, problem-solving environment. You will help solve our clients' most pressing business questions by scoping, running, interpreting and presenting SPINS TriLens Consumer Panel data. Responsibilities include creating ad-hoc custom reports in Circana's Unify platform that visualize critical consumer panel metrics and assisting in the development of insights for SPINS' brand clients. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with consumer panel clients and internal teams across SPINS to educate, engage, and empower clients and internal partners on the use and interpretation of consumer panel.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Use strong quantitative analysis skills and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry expertise in consumer panel data to develop informed, actionable recommendations to client stakeholders.
  • Execute, analyze and present findings from the consumer panel data to our CPG clients' category management, brand and marketing groups.
  • Collaborate with other parts of the organization to achieve revenue and project goals
  • Use your energy and motivation to evaluate consumer panel data, find key points, and recommend action steps to directly impact the bottom line for our clients.
  • Manage, mentor and lead resources both directly and indirectly
  • Achieve high-quality results through effective data integrity
  • Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related quantitative field of study.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience with Consumer Panel data (Circana or Nielsen preferred)
  • Strong project management and process skills with experience utilizing Excel and PowerPoint to deliver data. Strong visualization experience preferred.
  • Prior experience engaging in a consultative manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Technical aptitude, analytical mindset and intermediate or higher experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience building collaborative relationships both internally and externally to facilitate a flawless customer experience.
  • Experience working with syndicated data (preferred SPINS, The Nielsen Co., Circana and/or data in a Consumer-Packaged Goods manufacturing setting) is required

The following is strongly preferred:

  • CPG, Retail, or natural/specialty industry is a plus.
  • Experience using Circana's Unify is a big plus.

Salary range: $90,000-$97,500
