Manufacturing Supervisor

Leadsteam of highly skilled welders / fabricators to support organizationalgoals and meet safety, quality, and production standards. Overseesthe overall performance and strategic direction of the manufacturing team.Ensures adherence to company values, drives continuous improvement, andsupports team development.

Provide strategic leadership, ensuring alignment with company values and siteculture - 25%
Manage and develop teams to support business and teammate objectives and foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and humility - 25%
Provide operational oversight in alignment with OPEX systems to ensure business objectives are achieved - 20%
Collaboratewith cross-functional teammembers to support company culture and enable the achievement of the site's goals and objectives - 20%
Createand evaluate reports and documentation to enable policyadherence and improvementsto the site's culture - 10%

Functions :

Ensure labor plan supports the business strategy.

Create development plans for shop floor personnel that align with company values.

Provide direct coaching and administer disciplinary discussions fairly and respectfully.

Collaborate with support teams to implement systematic improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.

Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and integrity among team members.

Ensure the continuous development of leadership, continuous improvement, and work systems to enable ideal behaviors amongst the shop floor and support team members.

Oversee the overall performance and behavior of the shop floor team, ensuring alignment to company values.

Drive a culture of operation excellence in accordance with the OPEX Model.

Provide coaching for shop floor and support team members.

Collaborate with HR in recruiting / hiring processes, selecting candidates who embody the company's values.

Administertraining, development, and performance evaluations that are fair, consistent,and aligned with company policies.

Ensure the development and adherence to the Daily Management System.

Ensure work areas adhere to all safety protocols. Develop action plans as necessary to make improvements.

Ensure adequate coverage for all manufacturing processes during shifts.

Make changes as necessary in the event of staff absence, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ensure proper preventive maintenance of equipment and submit work orders as required.

Provide feedback and suggest areas of improvement that align with company goals and values.

Liaisewith other supply team members to address potential issues and reportaccordingly

Maintain all necessary production reports, performance documents, and timekeeping records.

Provide documentation requested from the supply team in a timely and accurate manner.

Ensure all timekeeping records are accurate and submitted in time to meet payroll dates.

Track employee absences and issue occurrences as needed, while maintaining fairness and consistency.

Work cross-functionally with plant staff to execute the overall manufacturing plan, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Collaborate with Drafting / Engineering to drive improvements in design for manufacturing capabilities, ensuring manufacturability and meeting customer requirements.

Coordinate improvement activities with the Engineering, Drafting, Quality, and Warehouse teams, fostering collaboration and teamwork with both, the desk-free and management team members.

Provide direction to shop floor team members, ensuring clear communication and alignment with company values.
