Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on materials using CMM and sophisticated techniques to ensure quality standards met (20%).
• Record and analyze results: Maintain detailed records of inspection results and measurement data, ensuring accuracy and reliability (20%).
• Calibrate equipment: Perform routine calibration and verification of shop floor measurement equipment to maintain precision (20%).
• Conduct routine audits of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures and guidelines.
• Support quality assurance initiatives by providing feedback on process improvements.
• Train production staff on quality standards and accurate inspection techniques.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for non-conformances.
• Verify the implementation and efficiency of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards specific to the industry.
• Identify trends in defects or quality issues and report findings to management.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Perform final inspections as required before products are shipped to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of quality control workstations and tools.
• Assist in preparing for external audits or certifications, such as ISO or industry-specific standards.
• Operate testing equipment or coordinate external testing when required.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Stay current with industry standards and advancements in quality inspection techniques.
