Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on materials using CMM and sophisticated techniques to ensure quality standards met (20%).
- Record and analyze results: Maintain detailed records of inspection results and measurement data, ensuring accuracy and reliability (20%).
- Calibrate equipment: Perform routine calibration and verification of shop floor measurement equipment to maintain precision (20%).
- Conduct routine audits of production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Support quality assurance initiatives by providing feedback on process improvements.
- Train production staff on quality standards and accurate inspection techniques.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for non-conformances.
- Verify the implementation and efficiency of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards specific to the industry.
- Identify trends in defects or quality issues and report findings to management.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Perform final inspections as required before products are shipped to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of quality control workstations and tools.
- Assist in preparing for external audits or certifications, such as ISO or industry-specific standards.
- Operate testing equipment or coordinate external testing when required.
- Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current with industry standards and advancements in quality inspection techniques.
