Job Summary
Spirit AeroSystems is seeking a skilled Aerocomposite Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for laying out, assembling, and bonding various metal, composite, or laminate fabrications, assemblies, and parts.
Key Responsibilities
• Lay out and assemble composite and metal fabrications, assemblies, and parts according to engineering and manufacturing specifications
• Operate autoclave, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete the bonding cycle
• Cut parts or materials to size using precision measuring instruments
• Apply sealing resins to cut or exposed edges and ensure quality control
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance and move product within the manufacturing work area
Requirements
• Must be willing and able to work any shift
• Must pass The WorkKeys Assessment or provide verification of passing the assessment
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet productivity standards
