Key qualifications for this role include strong client engagement skills, excellent communication, empathy, and a strong work ethic. We welcome applications from all licensed attorneys, regardless of GPA or experience. While experience in employment law is a plus, it is not a requirement.
Compensation :
65,000 - $85,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Engage clients on a daily basis
- Represent clients in employment-related legal matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage disputes
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients
- Draft legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and briefs, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare clients for legal proceedings, including depositions, hearings, and trials, and represent them in court
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and advocate for their rights and interests during mediation and arbitration proceedings
