Job Summary :
SPL is growing and is currently looking for an IT Support Specialist in Reading, PA. The IT Support Specialist must be team oriented, proactive, and goal driven. This position provides technical support and assistance, whether on the phone, in person, or remotely, related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responds to queries via phone, email, in-person, and / or remote access;
- Offers technical assistance regarding the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software;
- Trains computer users and staff on troubleshooting and diagnosing issues;
- Completes special projects for IT Manager as needed;
- Obtains regular feedback from internal and external customers to improve training methods;
- Responsible for creation and maintenance of all necessary training manuals;
- Generates reports and analyzes common complaints and problems;
- Performs administrative functions;
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or MIS preferred.
Relocation :
This position is not eligible for relocation.
Travel Requirements :
This position requires less than 10% travel annually.
Work Schedule :
This is an onsite position that will work 8 hours Monday-Friday in SPL's Reading, PA location. This position is subject to overtime and weekend availability to meet deadlines. This position will also have the flexibility to work from home with manager's approval as needed.
