COMPANY HISTORY
In 1991, Joanne Currie and her husband Ross purchased Splash Café in Pismo Beach, CA. Over the next 30 years they became well known for winning the 1st place award for their Clam Chowder at the annual Clam Festival. The cafes now serve more than 40,000 gallons of chowder a year, and they have been featured in several national and international publications and TV shows.
DUTIES
- Welcome guests with a SMILE and friendly greeting
- Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning tables
- Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards
- Check on guests to promptly handle any issues
- Arrange tables for large parties
- Keep an eye on tables and alert servers if guests need anything
- Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
- Clean, sanitize and put away all dishes
- Put away large deliveries with proper rotation
- Perform opening, closing, and side work
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 years of restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift & carry up to 50 pounds at a time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a great attitude, excellent customer service skills and great communication skills
- Available to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed

- Proof and documentation of being able to work in the US
