Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid on-site)
Hours: Day Shift, Monday - Friday
The Suply Chain Analyst is responsible for entire lifecycle of a process from beginning to end. Gathers and analyzes data to develop insights used for the optimization of the organization's supply chain operations. Identifies underperforming areas in the supply chain by analyzing costs, capacity, and demand patterns. Continuously reviews the movement of materials and other supply chain processes to identify sources of problems and to develop suggestions for solutions
Essential Functions- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency.
- Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with shippers and vendors.
- Prepares reports or dashboards to provide reliable activity data to stakeholders.
- Monitors suppliers for contract compliance.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements.
- Additional job duties or responsibilities may be assigned within scope of position.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in logistics and supply management or related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- 3-5 years’ experience, in a supply management role or related position
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven knowledge of inventory management and contract compliance.
- Proficient in the data analysis tools used in the industry.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data.
- Understand data analysis and interpretation and know how to extract actionable insights from the information.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships
Technical Skills
- General Data Analysis Software/Supply Chain planning software
- Proficient in spreadsheet applications, SQL analysis tools and mathematical analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other technical software as it relates to the position.
