Splunk is looking for an Audience Strategy Analyst to join our Marketing Operations team to assist in the utilization and optimization of the team’s tech stack and processes. We are looking for a person who loves data, flourishes with process optimization and thinks critically when it comes to continually improving marketing processes and strategy. You will work closely with teams across the enterprise, ranging from Go-To-Marketing sales, marketing teams and operations teams. You thrive working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and responsibilities shift with the business. SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range $132,000.00 - 181,500.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range $118,800.00 - 163,350.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range $105,600.00 - 145,200.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.

Responsibilities
- Support our external agency and internal teams in building contact lists for email campaigns, outbound call prospecting and event invitations, using dimensions like contact personas and account segments
- Continually look for ways to automate, optimize and simplify campaign execution, from distilling and documenting requirements, coding, output and QC.
- Support data discovery, research, solve and analysis based on the evolving needs of marketing partners.
- Develop and implement segmentation logic that aligns the right communication, at the right time, based on customer behavior, actions, and journey stage
- Present data driven recommendations and strategies to team members and management based on analytic findings, research, and your knowledge of the data available.
- Leverage vendors for database enhancements ensuring marketing and sales have the best data available
- Implement a contact acquisition strategy, data validation and data enrichment plan to drive engagement with our C-level and decision makers segment.
- Proven experience within direct or database marketing functions; in a B2B environment is preferred
- Background using Marketing Automation, CRM and reporting tools
- Well-versed with SQL queries and knowledge of database technologies
- Experience in collaborating successfully with key Sales/Marketing team members
- Solid grasp of modern B2B marketing. Need to have familiarity with concepts such as lead management, demand generation, nurturing, demand waterfalls, martech, deliverability, governance, and all tools listed above

- Direct experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Adobe Real-Time CDP or snowflake
- Possess understanding of Cloud Data Warehouse methodologies, Data Architecture, Data Modeling and Digital Metadata
