Position Summary
Responsible for performing and directly supervising maintenance team to perform routine work orders, preventative maintenance, janitorial and trash services. Provides a variety of services including troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and improvement of facilities. Supervises and performs programs of building maintenance and custodial. Such maintenance includes all buildings and improvements, grounds, utilities, mechanical, electrical systems, parking lots, equipment, and vehicles.

Facilities Responsibilities
- Serves as the technical expert to resolve and provide support for all maintenance issues and programs within .
- Maintains mechanical, electrical, and controls systems. Coordinates and orders contracted services as needed to accomplish repairs not practical to be completed by Champion Teamwear staff.
- Provides guidance and project management assistance to facilities for remodels, refurbishments, and special projects.
- Acts as on-site coordinator and customer liaison for construction, expansion, and/or remodeling.
- Develops and maintains preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC, office equipment, and company vehicles.
- Maintains parking and perimeter areas, including repaving/asphalt, snow removal, lawn care and general housekeeping.
- Maintain up to date records for all state, federal, and insurance semi-annual and annual inspections.
- Sets up monthly and yearly inspections for city and code services.
- Ensures Champion Teamwear facilities are following proper regulatory requirements pertaining to the physical plant.
- Troubleshoots maintenance problems and advises management on the appropriateness of repairs.
- Provides training and technical support to maintenance technicians.
- Monitors all maintenance programs, supervises and performs work requested as needed on maintenance requests.
- Works with Purchasing Agent to order and maintain all supplies needed.
- Assists retail in movement of tents and store fixtures.
- Completes position specific training plan, and engages in continuous development utilizing a developmental plan.
Safety
- Complete OSHA specific training.
- Advises employees on safety and occupational health requirements, standards and procedures.
- Possesses a working knowledge of Champion Teamwear safety protocols and procedures and enforces compliance.
- Ensures team and company are in compliance with and abreast of all OSHA regulations with regards to facilities.
- Oversees all monthly inspections on fire extinguishers, signs, and floor lights.
- Understands procedures for tracking all accidents, injuries, or illnesses and works with HR to ensure records are kept.
- Actively ensures employees have the necessary tools/resources to perform their duties safely and in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or other post-secondary education preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of verifiable experience in facility management environment
- Minimum of 3 years experience at the supervisory level
- Experience in resolving air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, carpentry (including painting), and appliance repair issues. HVAC certification preferred.
- Experience in all building systems, including but not limited to: HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, housekeeping experience a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and apply construction principles, interpret and apply codes and applicable regulations, and interpret blue prints.
- Have necessary computer skills to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, trade specific programs, and maintenance scheduling/request software.
- Ability to work well under pressure, and have diagnostic and problem solving abilities.
- Possess a current and valid driver’s license
- Able to scope, bid, and contract projects
