Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Leasing Agent to handle leasing for our portfolio of Section 8 single-family homes in the Cleveland area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, and a deep understanding of the Section 8 housing program. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing Management:
- Oversee the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring compliance with Section 8 regulations.
- Conduct property tours, process applications, and manage lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure properties are ready for occupancy.
Marketing:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract qualified tenants.
- Create and manage online listings, social media campaigns, and other advertising efforts.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about local rental trends and competitor offerings.
- Organize and participate in community events to promote properties and build relationships.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure all leasing activities comply with Section 8 regulations and fair housing laws.
- Prepare and submit required reports to government agencies and management.
- Stay updated on changes in housing regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, with a focus on Section 8 housing.
- Strong understanding of Section 8 regulations and fair housing laws.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Total Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 annually (base salary performance-based bonuses).
