This on-site position has a dayshift schedule of Monday-Thursday, 7:30-4:30, Friday, 7:30-12:30, and starts at $19.52/hr.

This position provides main floor receptionist services and answers main phone line for Spokane Regional Health District and primary administrative support for Vital Records and other departments as approved.
 
 
Some Essential Functions Include:

  • Acts as a face of the district by greeting and directing visitors and clients in person and over the phone to appropriate individuals, resources and programs.  
  • Monitors visitors to the property and maintains the visitors log for the College Street location.
  • Maintains current knowledge of all program basics and stay abreast of all staff changes.  
  • Directs clients where to find community resources (i.e. food bank locations, bus stop locations, homeless shelter support locations.
  • Facilitates the disbursement of incoming and outgoing packages received by the district and distributes mail as needed.

Required Education
  • High School Graduate, GED or equivalent.
Required Experience:
  • Six months of general office work.
  • Must be able to work with a diverse population. 
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with clients, visitors, employees, and vendors.
