LOCATION: Sportime Corporate Office - Kings Park, NY
JOB SUMMARY:
Sportime Clubs seeks to hire an experienced accounting/tax professional with strong software skills to
work as an Assistant Controller in an in-person role supporting the Controller and CFO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Include, but are not limited to:
- Monthly closings, related financial reporting and annual audit
- Budgeting/forecasting and related management reporting
- Partnership and S Corp Tax returns and projections
- Develop strong skills with NetSuite software (general ledger) and Workday (Adaptive budget system)
- Internal control procedures and standard operating procedures
- Work with executive management, site management, outside auditors and tax preparers
- Review legal agreements, leases, and other contracts, and
- Ad hoc projects
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- At least ten years of experience
- Works effectively with others and independently
- Strong software skills
