Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee all facility operations, ensuring the stadium, ancillary properties and satellite facilities are operating and maintained to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for MEP systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
- Lead construction and renovation projects, managing timelines, budgets, and contractors to ensure successful project completion.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, local building codes, and industry regulations.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, including capital improvement planning and cost forecasting
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for maintenance contracts and emergency repairs.
- Supervise the facility services team, ensuring that housekeeping programs deliver consistent pristine standards in cleanliness and presentation
- Supervise a team of facility operations staff, providing leadership, training, and professional development.
- Maintain documentation and reporting on facility inspections, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols as well as organization of all facilities drawings and OEMs.
- Collaborate with stadium and club leadership to support event operations, ensuring readiness for all matches and special events.
- Support Sporting Kansas City’s mission, vision and purpose.
- Represent Sporting Kansas City and its related affiliates in a professional manner at all times.

- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Sporting Management or another related field.
- Experience in a stadium, arena or live entertainment venue preferred (not required)
- 6-8 years of experience in facility operations, with expertise in MEP systems and construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- OSHA 30 or higher preferred
- NFPA safety & fire protection training certifications preferred
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and building management software preferred.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
