Sports medicine physician practice looking for a highly motivated individual to join one of our SMASA locations at our Boerne Location as the Front Desk Team Lead
Responsibilities: In addition to being able to adequately perform all Non-Team-Lead Patient
Experience duties, the Front Desk Team Lead role will:
• Serve as a resource for all front desk team members by fielding questions and providing
adequate resolutions and answers to the staff initiating questions.
• Ensure staff members can process all aspects of front desk duties timely and accurately.
• Assist Director of Patient Experience in developing scripting for the team, as well as
ensuring compliance and overall performance of team.
• Provide new hire training and guidance during the initial hire onboarding period for new
staff as it relates to the operations and performance of the role.
• Assist Director of Patient Experience in the interview and selection process of new staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Two to Five years of front desk experience
Performance Requirements:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical scheduling practices and regulations, both external and internal.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner with outside representatives to resolve
patient accounts.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to analyze and understand complex written communication.
• Ability to handle multiple projects while working front desk duties.
• Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and basis computer skills
