Job Overview:
The Manager of Paid Media will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction and execution of our paid media campaigns.This position is responsible for setting the overall paid media strategy and leading external agency partners to achieve our business objectives. The successful candidate will possess in-depth expertise in paid search, social, and programmatic channels.
This position will be a member of the Marketing Team under the VP of Marketing, reporting directly to the Director, Digital Marketing. In addition, this position will require experience in media planning, buying, and executing across multiple platforms including TV, Digital, Paid Social, Paid Search, Radio, and Outdoor, preferably in the health & wellness industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive paid media strategy aligned with the company's overall marketing goals, ensuring effective utilization of the annual paid media budget.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire an internal team of paid media specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee and manage relationships with external agency partners, ensuring their performance aligns with business objectives and optimizing campaign performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in paid media, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Drive the execution of paid media campaigns across various platforms, including Amazon sponsored ads, Paid Search & Social, streaming and online video, TV, Radio, and Outdoor advertising.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the VP of Marketing, Brand Managers, and Digital Marketing team, to ensure paid media strategies are aligned with brand objectives and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve ROI, increase conversions, and optimize media spend.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media partners, content creators, research companies, and other vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional leadership team to establish key performance indicators (KPIs), track progress, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership on the effectiveness of paid media campaigns.
- Stay informed about changes in the digital advertising and entertainment landscape, industry regulations, and platforms' policies, ensuring compliance and proactively addressing any challenges or risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) required. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in paid media, with a focus on performance media, demand generation, brand awareness campaigns, and media planning/buying in the health and wellness industry.
- A proven track record owning and spearheading agency relationships and deliverables across paid search, social, and programmatic channels, and work with the media teams to maximize ROI, customer retention and new customer acquisition.
- Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage and motivate a team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
- Extensive experience working with external agency partners, providing clear direction, and ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing analytics, including DOMO proficiency in analyzing campaign performance data, extracting actionable insights, and making data-driven decisions.
Working Conditions:
This role works in a collaborative indoor office setting with desks, computers, stairs, telephones, and a copy machine.

Travel:
Travel is required for offsite meetings, productions, and events.
