Painter (Deposit, NY)

Sportsfield Specialties is seeking a hands-on Painter, for our Deposit, NY location, who can work independently and/or with others as a production team member with good analytical skills. Candidate must be reliable and flexible with schedule during summer months.

Responsibilities/Duties Include But Not Limited To

• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with the required procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain and operate powder coat equipment and spray booth as needed.
• Sand, polish, wash, dry, and apply powder coat to products specifications.
• Operate ovens and measure/monitor temperatures per product specifications.
• Maintain proper respirator care/operation.
• Weigh paint for accurate costing.
• Become efficient with painting techniques to meet quality and efficiency needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment, manage your time and be self-motivated.
• Ability to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to use and operate power tools, ladders, and warehouse equipment safely.
  
  

Experience/Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with powder paint preferred but not required.
• Experience with electric, hydraulics; pneumatics and controls.
