What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cushion Assembly Coverer position at Sportsman Boats Mfg.?
Sportsman Boats is looking for dedicated, hard working Cushion Assembly Coverers to join our Upholstery department.
What you will do:
- Stuff and fit cushions following patterns
- Staple and secure fabric to framework
- Inspect cushions for defects, damage, or stains
- Compare physical characteristics of materials or products to specifications or standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
To be considered you must have:
- Ability to stand and work with your hands for 5 hours/day
- Ability to lift cushions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail oriented, proactive and able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Advanced verbal communication skills
- Advanced time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience with manual assembly
- Bilingual Spanish/English
