Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers, providing them with menus and answering any initial questions
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using the POS system
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Monitor tables and promptly remove empty dishes and glasses
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new customers
- Process customer payments using cash register or POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Basic culinary knowledge to answer customer questions about menu items
- Proficiency in cash handling
