Silver Falls Capital is hiring an IT Specialist to strategically develop the IT infrastructure, from hardware to cloud, partnering with our businesses to provide a modern, secure, and productive IT environment, streamline common processes, and manage critical data. Working closely with the CTO, they will create and own the IT Roadmap to support the growth of the portfolio of companies under management and work closely with third-party support and application providers. The IT Specialist will also oversee the day-to-day IT operations for all staff, including company-specific applications.
We are committed to operating in the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystem and are looking to improve our standardization and utilization of those tools. The successful candidate will be able to scale from daily operations and project planning to strategic design. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Strategic
- Devise, establish, evolve, and enforce IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by Silver Falls' leadership
- Assess the business requirements of all companies and departments to determine their technology needs, including both back office and on the manufacturing floor
- Design and implement information systems so that they are effective and robust
- Ensure all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
- Evaluate technology risks and develop resilience and disaster recovery plans
- Remain up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices with a view to continuous improvement of the SFC infrastructure
