Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician 2nd shift to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks, including installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical systems, logic controllers, and vision inspection systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using specialized tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams using AutoCAD.
- Work on electrical systems and equipment in a militarized environment.
- Use CNC machines to fabricate and assemble electrical components.
- Install and configure logic controllers and vision inspection systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to resolve electrical issues.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency in electrical systems and equipment.
- Experience with logic controllers and vision inspection systems.
- Familiarity with Calypso systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Experience with field service and industrial maintenance experience.
- Certification in electrical technology or a related field is a plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
