What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics & Fulfillment Operation Specialist position at Spotter Global Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the process of receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Follow up on order processing, and optimize transportation and logistics procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and replenishment.
- Picking goods in the WMS system and generating packing lists for Warehouse Associates.
- Preparing shipping documents such as packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of analysis, etc. to route shipments according to DOT requirements.
- Comparing and negotiating freight quotes to provide the most economical transport of goods and meet customer or company requirements.
- Scheduling freight pick-ups as required.
- Communicating with sales team and customers regarding order statuses
- Contacting carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
- Verifying invoices from freight companies and complete internal processes according to company requirements.
- Performing monthly inventory count.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus
- Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management systems is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking
