What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist (Leave Coverage) position at Spotter Staffing?
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy services, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families. This role requires someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is comfortable working with both push-in and pull-out models to support students.
This position is available full-time, but we are also open to part-time or flexible scheduling for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and small-group therapy sessions using both push-in and pull-out models.
Address articulation, language processing, expressive/receptive language, and IEP-related needs.
Utilize iPads and other assistive technology to enhance communication and learning (preferred).
Participate in weekly Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings with the SPED team to collaborate on best practices.
Complete required documentation, assessments, and progress tracking in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines.
Work closely with teachers and other specialists to develop comprehensive support plans for students.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience with IEP development and implementation.
Expertise in articulation, processing, and language therapy.
Familiarity with iPads for student learning and communication is preferred.
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with a willingness to work across disciplines.

A Typical Day in This Role:
A mix of push-in and pull-out therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
Small group and 1:1 therapy sessions in both classroom and therapy room settings.
Daily 30-minute duty-free break to recharge.
Weekly late-start Wednesdays dedicated to SPED team professional development and collaboration.
