Position Overview :
The Controller (Accounts Payable Manager) will oversee the accounts payable process ensuring that all vendor invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time. This role will be key to managing the financial health of the company by providing insights into cash flow optimizing payment cycles and ensuring compliance with company policies. As the Controller you will be responsible for leading a team collaborating with crossfunctional departments and ensuring financial processes are efficient transparent and aligned with best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accounts Payable Management :
Oversee the full accounts payable cycle including invoice receipt verification approval and payment processing.
Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and development.
Work closely with the finance team to manage cash flow and optimize payment cycles.
Prepare and maintain regular accounts payable reports for management highlighting trends outstanding payments and cash flow forecasts.
Ensure compliance with all company policies tax regulations and accounting standards related to accounts payable.
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the accounts payable function and reduce inefficiencies.
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
5 years of experience in accounts payable accounting or finance with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
Experience with cloudbased financial systems and automation tools.
