Description
SSM is actively seeking a Civil Engineer with 5-7 years of experience specializing in land development and stormwater management to join our highly respected Land Development engineering team. This is a full-time, hybrid position offering the opportunity to work on impactful and dynamic projects within a collaborative environment.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
- Design for land development projects, focusing on stormwater systems and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and environmental regulations.
- Manage permitting processes and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, high-quality land development and engineering solutions.
Education and Experience
- B.S. in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineering License in Pennsylvania; other state registrations, especially DE and NY are a plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D design and other engineer design software preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including comfort speaking and interacting with others.
This position is based out of our Reading PA office; however, there may be flexibility for a hybrid-remote work model.
