About the Role:
As General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the hotel's success, responsible for maximizing profitability, ensuring guest satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team. You will provide leadership and direction to all team members, fostering a culture of excellence and guest loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a diverse team of hospitality professionals. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide development opportunities, and address any team member concerns.
- Guest Experience: Champion a guest-centric culture, ensuring all guest needs are met and exceeded. Proactively address guest feedback and implement strategies to achieve high guest satisfaction scores. Strive for 100% satisfaction and brand awards.
- Financial Performance: Develop revenue and cost reports and forecasts to maximize profitability. Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to optimize financial performance. Manage accounts receivable, payroll, daily transmittals, and reporting.
- Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue. Maintain relationships with key accounts and participate in community events to promote the hotel.
- Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage. Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance programs. Maintain the property's condition, cleanliness, and quality of product/service.
- Brand Compliance: Ensure the hotel adheres to all Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton brand standards and requirements .
- Community Engagement: Actively participate in the local community and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience as a General Manager in a hotel environment, preferably with IHG, Hilton, Choice, or Marriott properties.
- Proven track record of achieving financial results and exceeding guest satisfaction goals.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, sales and marketing, and revenue management.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with hotel PMS systems (e.g., PEP, OnQ, Opera) is a plus.
