Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through rigorous testing and inspection processes. This position requires a strong understanding of quality control standards and practices, as well as proficiency in various measuring instruments and data collection methods.
Duties
- Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to ensure product specifications are met.
- Utilize vision inspection systems to perform quality checks on products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately for reporting purposes.
- Implement CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) throughout the quality control processes.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and assist in fabricating solutions to enhance product quality.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards by maintaining thorough documentation and records of inspections and tests.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in a quality control or technician role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CGMP guidelines and ISO 9001 standards is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using data collection tools and software, including Calypso for measurement analysis.
- Experience with vision inspection systems and other automated inspection technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
