Job Title: Accountant
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Salary: $75,000 - $105,000 DOE

Job Summary:
Join our GROWING TEAM! We are in search of the right person to join the accounting team. This position will be full-time in our Durango office.
This position will be responsible for our day-to-day accounting processes and management. As this is a new position, the right individual will be resourceful, team-oriented, and driven. We are a growing company seeking a highly motivated individual who will thrive at our fast-moving pace. We use Acumatica for accounting software and Microsoft Office programs daily.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing monthly financial statements
- Reporting including WH347 for certified payroll
- Monthly job costing
- Monthly and annual closings
- Reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Assist with transaction coding and approval
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Acumatica, QuickBooks, etc.
- Proficient in Office 365- specifically Excel
- Understanding of general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and delegate appropriately
- Ability to work independently and as a team
Education and Experience:
- B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or at least five years of relevant experience required.
- Valid Driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
