Graduate Records Coordinator
SUMMARY
This position assists in the daily operations in the Office of Registration and Records, maintains student and course records for graduate programs, and reports enrollment and other data to various external agencies.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with registration for graduate students
- Maintains graduate students’ records
- Assists with graduate course scheduling
- Conducts degree audits for graduate students
- Confers degrees for graduate students
- Processes transfer credit evaluations from graduate programs
- Processes grade changes for graduate students
- Creates and submits enrollment reports to National Student Clearinghouse and resolves reporting errors
- Creates and submits graduation reports to National Student Clearinghouse
- Maintains unique identifier code numbers for state reporting
- Enters data into NAIA Connect for NAIA eligibility
- Processes transcript requests as needed
- Answers stakeholder inquiries as needed
- Processes degree and enrollment verification requests for all students and alumni
- Process in-school deferment requests for all students
- Writes letters of enrollment verification and letters of good standing as requested
- Acts as back-up to assistant registrar during absences
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in a higher education setting preferred
- Experience in student service areas of higher education preferred
- Experience working in databases and data entry software required
