Qualifications/Skills: Education/Certification:
- Minimum of 48 college hours or high school diploma/equivalent plus pass a District Assessment.
- Educational Aide Certification.
- Obtained or Ability to Obtain a Texas Commercial Driver License to transport students preferred.
- Ability to work with young adults using appropriate interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work and communicate with children and adults effectively.
- Effective organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities: Instructional Support:
- Assist in carrying out the instructional program under the supervision of teaching personnel.
- Assist in maintaining student records.
- Assist in preparation, use and maintenance of job training materials and equipment.
- Assist with teacher planned activities, exercises and drills.
- Follow teacher instruction and guidance.
- Assist in maintaining student records.
- Assist in supervising student grooming activities.
- Supervise students in job related settings
- Participate in planned inservice and professional growth activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
