What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recertification Clerk - Temporary position at Spring Creek Towers?
Position Description : SUMMARY OF POSITION :
The Certification Assistant / Recertification Clerk is professional, well-organized individual with great attention to detail. Assist the recertification department in day-to-day operations, must be able to manage and take ownership of multiple assignments, manage towards deadline, work with recertification team, and be dependable. This is a full time temporary position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Assist with HUD signings
Schedule appointments with residents to complete their recertification
Maintain data systems and file system
Accurately input data-entry
Update and maintain daily tracker
Produce letters, memos and type other documents as needed
Work on special projects for the Recertification department
All other duties assigned by the Assistant Director and Senior Compliance Manager

EDUCATION / WORK REQUIREMENTS :
Knowledge / interest in Affordable Housing
GED / High School Diploma and college coursework
Demonstrated organizational skills
Basic computer skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, applicants, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc. Ability to use research and analysis in order to provide support in formulating strategies and business cases.
REASONING ABILITY :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to use discretion and exhibit high level of confidentiality.
