Mission of Leadership Academy:
We enrich and strengthen the capacity of our teachers and campus leaders through training and advancement programs. Among these programs is SEG’s highly-successful Leadership Academy, currently serving educators with administrative experience who seek to become campus leaders. Most participants matriculate to campus-leader positions upon graduation. Over the next few years, the Leadership Academy will expand career-ladder offerings to reach greater numbers of school-site employees.
What You'll Do:
SEG seeks a Leadership Academy Director who will maintain the excellence of existing programs and expand Leadership Academy offerings.
Job responsibilities fall into two broad categories:
Organize and deliver existing Leadership Academy training
Manage the application process and the selection of Academy participants.
Review and evaluate training materials
Lead and manager training Cycles.
Organize and facilitate all in-person training,
Manage the cadence and delivery of online content
Communicate program milestones.
Provide learning support and troubleshooting during program cycles
Design and develop new Leadership Academy programs and resources
Collaborate with Spring Education Leadership to assess training and professional-development needs within SEG and contribute suggestions for new programs.
As new programming is approved, lead its development. This will include course design and the development of instructional modules and identification of needed resources, including program faculty.
Market and Launch new programs within the Community.
Manage lifecycle of new Leadership Academy programs as they develop into ongoing developmental programs within the organization.
General Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and teams involved in developing and participating in programs.
Be able to manage large projects and prioritize responsibilities.
Keep current on developments in Education and leadership best-practice, as well as resources and technical tools that can improve Academy participants experience and your own.
Collaborate with SEG’s cross-functional teams to ensure that programs continue to be aligned with and support organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
3 years of project management experience.
Teaching experience in K-12 schools preferred.
3 years experience designing lessons for adult learners, delivered traditionally or in e-learning environments.
Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
Excellent Organizational skills.
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
