Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role involves a variety of tasks including answering phones, customer support, invoicing, collecting and processing payments, and maintaining office and billing records. The Office Assistant will work closely with other team members to facilitate communication and enhance productivity.

Duties

  • Greet visitors and manage front desk responsibilities, including phone calls and inquiries.
  • Communicate with customers and provide customer support
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
  • Prepare lawn measurements, estimates and service contracts as needed.
  • Assist with invoicing, payment processing, and record keeping.
  • Support bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent calendar management abilities.
  • Ability to perform clerical tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
