We are seeking a friendly, organized, detail-oriented and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our First Impressions Team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. At Spring Hill Eyecare, we take pride in delivering exceptional eye care in a warm and professional setting. As the first and last point of contact for our patients, our First Impressions Team plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and provide top-tier patient service.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, manage inquiries, direct calls to appropriate personnel, and actively fill openings.
- Verify insurance information and update patient records.
- Assist with referrals and collect co-pays and balances.
- Maintain an organized filing system for important documents and records.
- Perform clerical duties such as typing, data entry, and office organization.
- Maintain an organized, professional front office environment that is presentable at all times..
- Assist with administrative tasks as required, including correspondence and reports.
- Handle administrative duties such as faxing, scanning, and data entry.
Skills
- A friendly, professional attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Previous customer service experience (healthcare or optometry is a plus!).
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems.
- A team player who thrives in a supportive work environment.
