What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Director position at Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center?
Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing is looking for an engaging and energetic candidate who will help cultivate a culture of equality and help foster employee engagement and empowerment for the team.
This role will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to help implement best practices that meet legal compliance for both state and federal regulations and laws.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members
- Handles discipline and termination of employees according to company policy fairly and consistently with discretion and sensitivity.
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
- Serve employees by handling questions, helping resolve problems regarding work, and administering and interpreting contracts when necessary

Required Qualifications
v Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, from an accredited college or university is preferred.
v in place of a degree, a minimum, of three (3) years of experience with demonstrated success in human resource management.
v Knowledgeable of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in post-acute care settings.
