We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in patient service, dental receptionist duties as well as skilled in using Dentrix. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the smooth operation of our dental office.
**Responsibilities:**
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits using medical scheduling software
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages promptly
- Checking Insurance verification and getting breakdowns for required treatment
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with urgent care patients and prioritize appointments accordingly
- Coordinate with dental hygienists, assistants, and dentists for smooth patient flow
**Experience:**
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with Dentrix a must
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
