We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Office Manager to join our team and work close to home. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others, while also demonstrating proficiency in various office management and bookkeeping tasks and including coordination of customer service details to drivers. You will be responsible for answering phones, taking customer orders, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive company image!
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide accurate information regarding products and services to assist customers effectively.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the system.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Drivers and Operations to address customer needs.
- Assist in office management tasks including clerical duties, ordering supplies, and all types of administrative support.
- Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance and training on best practices.
- Continuously seek ways to improve customer service processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in office management tasks including clerical work and administrative duties.
- Familiarity with human resources processes is a plus.
- Ability to supervise staff and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of accounting and payroll systems advantageous.
- A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications related to bookkeeping is a plus.
