As our Commissary Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for the production quality of the food that goes to all of our stores.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee commissary kitchen, which produces food for the entire company
- Lead team of 40 - 50 commissary team members and managers across multiple satellite commissaries and ensure all standard operating procedures are being followed.
- Understand and uphold NYC Department of Health rules and regulations
- Manage logistics of delivering food daily to 10 stores and growing
- Optimize operation for target food and labor cost while maintaining quality standards
- Brainstorm and execute ideas to streamline the logistics of the operation
- Work with software programs to track orders, inventory, recipes
- Assist with re-designing recipes as needed
- Train, coach, and own development/performance of Commissary Leadership Team
Qualifications:
- Must be organized and attentive to detail
- Work experience demonstrating ability to stay organized in a fast paced environment
- Experience in food preferred but not mandatory
- Independent problem-solver
- Diligent, hard-working, and passionate about bringing nutritious food to the world
- Display emotional intelligence
- NYC Food Protection Certificate
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) (required)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
