Brief Position Description:
The Kennel Attendant provides daily care, feeding, and exercise for boarding and hospitalized pets and performs proper sanitary procedures to provide the best care for our patients. He or she also pays close attention to the pets’ status, such as signs of stress and changes in eating or elimination habits, and promptly notifies technicians and veterinarians to assess the situation. They must pay close attention to details, understand and follow proper feeding, medication administration, and sanitation procedures, and monitor boarding and hospitalized pets.
