Position Summary:
The Scheduler serves as the central point of contact and is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all staffing needs and medical appointments for Community Homes. This role involves working closely with the Residence Manager, Assistant Director, Direct Support Professionals, and other staff to develop professional relationships that facilitate and streamline scheduling for various care services, hospital stays, and medical appointments. The Scheduler will utilize Day Force scheduling to ensure all scheduling needs are clearly accounted for and communicated.
Additionally, the Scheduler will support the Day Force recruiting process by scheduling interviews and assisting with the hiring of Direct Support Professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates all Community Homes scheduling, working with both internal and external constituents.
- Coordinates scheduling in conjunction with available staffing support.
- Provides administrative support by preparing and processing data input/output to Springbrook computer information systems.
- Develops and distributes scheduling through Day Force scheduling.
- Conducts daily reviews and updates in Day Force Recruiting.
- Facilitates interviews for Direct Support Professionals with Residence Managers and Assistant Directors.
- Facilitate overall department communication effectiveness by assisting with departmental, interdepartmental, and external communications related to scheduling.
- Provides reports on hiring and status updates.
- Requires a comprehensive knowledge of the assigned program.
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment within established policies.
- Performs all other duties as required.
- Excellent communication skills and follow through.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- High school/GED required. Associate’s Degree Preferred
- Minimum of (2) year of experience working with scheduling preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; have the aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary.
- Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
