What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Custodian 7AM to 3PM position at Springfield International Charter School?
The Custodian provides a clean, safe learning environment for students and staff through regularly assigned duties and maintenance as required. This is a calendar year non-exempt position.
Responsible and accountable for maintaining the building in a clean and safe condition. Requires the ability to move cafeteria tables, chairs, and lift 20 pounds.
Working closely with the Facilities Manager and the team making sure the schools’ policies and procedures are properly and consistently implemented and maintained.
*Some custodial or housekeeping experience preferred
*Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
*Some knowledge of procedures to operate heating and air conditioning equipment

Candidates must meet all employment requirements including, but not limited to, state and/or federal education and certification requirements, successful completion of criminal background and reference checks, and skills testing if required for the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
