Job Description

Job Title : X-Ray Technician

Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30); 5x8 Days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without pay for the canceled hours

Experience : Minimum 1 year required; First-timers accepted; Level I Trauma experience preferred

License : Must have an active Illinois state license

Certifications : ARRT and BLS required

Must-Have : Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, Operating Room

Job Description :

• Perform various X-Ray procedures including, but not limited to, abdomen decubitus, KUB, and chest routines.
• Proficient in chest and thorax X-Ray techniques such as chest AP, chest lateral decubitus, and soft tissue neck.
• Experience with O-ARM equipment preferred.
• Ability to conduct head X-Rays including facial bones, orbits, paranasal sinuses, skull, and temporomandibular joints.
• Skilled in lower extremity X-Rays such as ankle, femur, foot, knee, and tibia-fibula.
• Perform mobile and surgical X-Ray procedures including C-Arm, portable abdomen, and portable chest.
• Conduct spine and pelvis X-Rays such as cervical spine, hip, lumbar spine, pelvis, sacrum, coccyx, and thoracic spine.
• Proficient in upper extremity X-Rays such as clavicle, elbow, forearm, hand, scapula, shoulder, trauma shoulder, and wrist.
• Cerner experience preferred for charting.
• Will work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
• On-call duties required as needed.
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Open to discussing schedule requests with the manager.
• Candidates will not float within the facility.
• Must complete orientation modules within designated hours.
• Medical or religious exemptions allowed for flu vaccine requirement.
