What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistive Technology Specialist 2025-2026 SY position at Springfield Public Schools MA?
1. Be directly responsible to the Administrator of Related Services and Technology.
2. Provide evaluation, consultation, and direct service to students as requested or as outlined on their current Individualized Education Plans.
3. Work cooperatively with staff throughout the school district and provide training to staff in order to implement assistive technology as necessary/appropriate.
4. Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
5. Perform additional duties assigned by the Administrator of Related Services and Technology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience working with assistive technology and/or experience with students with wide variety of disabilities.
2. Degree in special education preferred but not required
