Job description
As a Sales Representative, you will contribute to the company’s sales objective with innovative ideas for business growth, great communication skills, strong customer service skills, and excellent negotiation skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Actively generate prospects and sales leads by pursuing new and existing clientele
· Participate in local networking events to generate relationships and potential client base
· Maintain a thorough knowledge of both Springfield Sign’s and our competitor’s products, services, and capabilities
· Develop an understanding and study trends within the industry to fulfill the client’s needs
· Communicate effectively with each department within Springfield Sign to achieve customers desired outcome
· Educate and guide customers through the signage process from the design phase to the installation of their sign for optimal customer satisfaction
· Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
· Prepare and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts/goals by tracking and maintaining metrics
· Negotiate and close agreements with large accounts while using an understanding of business to business sales
REQUIREMENTS
· 3 years sales experience
· Excellent resource planning and time management skills
· Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
· Requiring hours of service that would average at least 40 hours of service per week (full time) with possible overtime
· Familiarity with financial and project management principles.
· Accuracy with attention to detail and organization
· Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
· Must be able to lift and carry 0-50lbs. occasionally
· Must be willing to travel with some overnights potentially.
PREFERRED
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Two years sales experience in the manufacturing/sign industry
