Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Technician

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 8-hour days or 4x 10-hour days
• Hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, adjusted as needed
• On-call duty rotation, including holidays, and call-back response within 30 minutes

Role Summary:
As a Cardiac Catheterization Technician, you will support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) and Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Certificate from a CAAHEP-accredited cardiovascular technologist program, or
• Completion of the Air Force Cardiopulmonary program with RCIS, CRT, or RRT credentials.
• Licensure/Registration:
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or
• ARRT certification.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of professional Cardiac Catheterization experience.
• At least 12 months in a Monitor and Scrub role within the past 24 months.
• Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Core Job Duties:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, stent insertion, and pacemaker implantation.
• Operate and maintain cardiovascular imaging and ultrasound equipment.
• Record patient history and clinical data, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Provide humane and effective communication to alleviate patient concerns.
• Maintain and stock supplies and ensure proper equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with the CCL and CVOR teams, providing on-call support as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.98 - $64.10 per hour
